About the Sleep Time App
Developed by Azumio Inc, Sleep Time is an amazing sleeping app that allows users to analyze sleep and provides detailed insights about their sleeping patterns.

The app aids users in having a peaceful sleep at night and waking up calm and refreshed in the morning.
The app has been my “Sleep Guru” for months now. It has helped to set sleep goals and get actionable advice for reaching those predetermined goals.
Besides, the app also features soothing music and lullabies to help sleep better.
Smart Alarm Algorithm
According to developers at Azumio, when people wake up during the deep sleep phase of their sleep, the body tends to take hours to awaken fully. This leaves the body and mind feeling exhausted and drained the entire day. I noticed that I would feel sleepy the whole day despite having a full night’s rest.
Sleep Time keeps an eagle-eye on the users’ sleeping patterns and learns when the user is in deep sleep and when in a relatively lighter phase. Then, it wakes up the user during the lightest phase of their sleep.
With Sleep Time’s state-of-the-art algorithm, I can wake up at the right time. Waking up in the lightest phase aids in ultimate revitalization, which keeps me focused and attentive the entire day. At the same time, I also feel well-rested and refreshed.
Sleep Insight Reports – Bed Time and Efficiency
According to research, staying up past the normal bedtime hurts the ability to sleep. This ultimately affects a person’s mental functioning and energy levels.

Bad sleeping habits also lead to sleep problems and can have other long-term health effects. It also hampers day life by hindering work focus and efficiency. That is when the Sleep Time app’s sleep insight report comes in handy.
Sleep Insights are the comprehensive report of users’ sleep quality. These include sleeping patterns, sleep cycle, and other several variables of sleep.
With the insight reports, the app allows me to know how late I can work at night while still maximizing the efficiency and quality of my sleep.
Soundscapes to Fall Asleep with Ease
I am among those people who face difficulty while sleeping at night. Because of this sleeping difficulty, I often have trouble waking up in the morning.
Thankfully the Sleep Time app has a library of soothing music and lullabies to help me get to sleep quickly. This was a key reason I made the Sleep Time app my sole sleeping app aid.
Sleep Time’s massive library of music features soundscapes such as gentle waves, rainforest storms, and even soothing lullabies. The music is professionally created to simulate sounds of the natural environment and enhance the human body’s ability to fall asleep quickly.
Science-Backed Advice
The best part about the Sleep Time app is its science-backed advice for better sleep quality.
This science is the habits and patterns directly derived from tracking your sleep through the evenings you use the app.
Based on the sleep data received by the app’s system, it delivers personalized advice and recommendations for improving sleep quality.
The app also allows me to set predetermined sleep goals, including maintaining my sleep schedule, avoiding screens at certain times, and napping smartly, among others.
How the Sleep Time App Works
Sleep Time makes use of the phone’s built-in accelerometer to sense the movement of the user while sleeping.
The app asks users to place their phone on the mattress where it will not fall off the bed, but will also not bother you while your eyes are shut.
After studying users’ sleeping patterns and understanding the phases of their sleep, the app tries to wake them up in the lightest phase possible. If I did not feel like waking up at that moment, I could snooze the alarm, by simply picking up the phone.
How to Use the Sleep Time App
The app has a very easy-to-use user interface. It is designed with a dark theme to complement the need for less phone brightness when operating the app in the evenings prior to bed.

The first tab is the Alarm tab, where I can set alarms to wake up. On the top-left corner, there is also a setting option to set ringtones and volumes.
The Insight tab contains details about my sleep patterns. These include my average bedtime, the average duration of sleep, and the average efficiency of sleep. The page also provides me with a detailed analysis of my sleep.
The Soundscapes tab contains the music mentioned above. For free users, the app offers just one music option – Gentle Waves. Users can unlock more with the purchase of a subscription.
